Dominican Republic Rum Guide
The Dominican Republic produces some of the finest rum in the world. With a rum-making tradition spanning over 150 years, the country's three major distilleries — Brugal, Barceló, and Bermúdez (the "Three B's") — have won countless international awards and define Caribbean rum excellence.
The Three B's of Dominican Rum

- Brugal Extra Viejo — The everyday premium. Smooth with vanilla and oak. ($15–20)
Barceló
Founded in 1930 in San Pedro de Macorís, Barceló is the best-selling rum in the Dominican Republic. Known for a slightly sweeter, fuller-bodied style.
